The End. Something that he thought about a lot. Robert had just moved to town; he had no one. He was so used to moving from place to place that friends seem pointless. In the end, there was no point. His mother could not help herself. She just could not go without watching the lights go out.
All the weight was killing him; he couldn't keep the secrets. He didn't know what to do. If someone knew, then he would be in trouble. Of course, she had to make it so hard for him. As his escape would mean her downfall.
In the end it was just another quiet little town that he was stuck in till his mom decided that they were too close to being found. At this point he stopped trying to learn the names. Not just of the people, but of the towns too. That is how it started with him.
First it was his father, then his siblings, and lastly his friends. It all made him wonder if he was next. Why didn't she just end this pain for him? That was her reasoning everytime she took them.
