Elemental Gods by Nova Noel

The fire god, Rochel was looking around his nation, he was mad. The earth god and the water god, Sinclair and Aqua, wanted to join forces against him and the sky god, Storm. Storm was coming to meet Rochel to talk about the other two gods and what they were going to do against them.

Storm walks in, “Rochel, what are we going to do?”

Rochel sighs and looks at the god. “I don’t know, Storm.” The two gods look over the area of the fire nation. “There is going to be a war soon.” Rochel says.

“Oh I know, Sinclair decided to try to attack this morning, didn’t work, but he is getting out of control and Aqua is just along for the ride.” Storm looked out over the border towards the water nation.

“How has the north been?” Rochel eyed the border as well.

“Well, beside the Earth trying to attack, it’s been fine.” Storm said, turning back to the fire god.

The gods were very stressed over the next few days because they have been getting attacked from water and earth troops. The gods decided that they will have a meeting all together to talk about why there are sudden attacks against the South and North (fire and air). Rochel and Storm sat on one side of the table while the other two sat on the other side.

“Okay, why all of a sudden a meeting, Storm?” Sinclair asked, looking at the air god.

“Why have you and Aqua been attacking Storm and I more often like we have done something?” Rochel looks at the two.

“What do you mean?” Aqua asked, trying to play dumb.

“Seriously Aqua, you flooded an entire little town!” Rochel yelled.

“Well if you didn’t try to steal land from us and go past your border then there wouldn’t be a problem!” Sinclair shouted back.

“I haven’t stolen any land, you crazy!” Rochel retorted.

Storm and Aqua stood between the two boys and get them to stop fighting. The meeting ended there and Rochel stayed locked up in his castle for months after, still sending resources and troops to the borders, but not once stepping out of his castle.

Storm was getting worried for Rochel; the god had canceled all of their meetings until now. Storm hadn’t heard from Rochel and wished he would hurry up and get back to being normal. Sinclair and Aqua were attacking the North border from both sides and Storm didn’t know how much longer her borders had. Rochel stayed in his castle until he got news that the North’s borders had fallen. He hurried to Storm's aid, but it was too late. Storm had ascended into the sky and became the wind of the North.

Rochel was so angry with his forces and Storm’s forces, he attacked the Earth and the Water areas; they beat Aqua and her region in 3 months, longer than they wished it had taken them, but Aqua was thrown into the abyss and became the water of the West. She started creating rivers, lakes, ponds, and oceans. Rochel then attacked the Earth area and Sinclair; it took them a year and half to win. Sinclair was thrown into a mound in the ground; he created mountains, hills, and trees. The people of all the nations turned on the fire god and threw him into the fire pit that they created. He then created volcanoes, lava, and fire.

The gods were all destroyed, but they created so much that helped the people live and reproduce, telling their children stories of the Elemental Gods. But no one told the story of the sly fox that told the different nations lies about the others.
